Faith in Action operates an interfaith volunteer system that works to fill existing gaps in health-promoting services needed by the elderly, those with disabilities, and other citizens whose circumstances have left them with unmet physical, mental, or social needs. Some of these services include: friendly visiting, companionship, outings and transportation, shopping, running errands, and assistance with household tasks. These services are free and are customized to meet the individual's needs.

The Faith in Action office is located on third floor, Room 312 of Mercy Hospital. Those interested in volunteering or receiving services may contact Faith in Action Project Director, Vicki Jackson at 701-845-6491.

Mission Statement: "Faith in Action is a network of congregations, organizations and individuals coordinated by Mercy Hospital, working cooperatively to carry on a healing ministry by providing non-medical volunteer services to people in need."
